Fort Hills open-pit mine is one of the largest in Alberta. As part of a two-part project, Rising Edge was contracted to complete the Pre-Commissioning and First-Time Energization of the 260KV/35KV/5KV/600V Switchgear and Transformers. Rising Edge also performed the switching of the 35KV/SKV /600V Switchgear and MCC testing for Multiple Business Units.
