We are proud members of the Canadian Council for Indigenous Business (CCIB). This is a national, non-profit organization dedicated to advancing Indigenous prosperity and participation. Through our partnership with CCIB, we strengthen our commitment and work towards economic reconciliation, community engagement, and the creation of meaningful opportunities with Indigenous peoples and businesses.
As an active member, Rising Edge is part of a growing network of organizations that share a vision for an inclusive and sustainable future where indigenous-led initiatives are supported.
Indigenous Partnership and Engagement
Rising Edge recognizes the importance of fostering authentic and mutually beneficial relationships with our Indigenous partners and communities. We are committed to understanding their local voices, traditions, and goals, and to integrate them into our project execution and workforce development strategies.
Our priorities include:
- Developing Indigenous procurement and partnership opportunities through supplier engagement and inclusive contracting
- Supporting Certified Indigenous Business by identifying and working with Indigenous-owned companies as part of our project supply chains
- Providing access to training and research tools that help us enhance inclusion within our operations and projects
- Collaborate on initiatives that build pathways for Indigenous youth and professional to join the growing energy and infrastructure sectors
- Supporting Indigenous employment and training within the energy and utilities sectors through opportunities and financial support
