Project Complete Year  2020
Project This solar farm is a significant renewable energy project – with a utility-scale solar photovoltaic (PV) facility that has a capacity of 16MW. The project spans approximately 78.34 acres, utilizing ground-mounted solar panels to harness solar energy efficiently. The facility is expected to generate around 24,320 megawatt-hours (MWh) of electricity annually, contributing substantially to the region’s clean energy supply. The project was constructed on the site of the former Briar Creek Golf Course, reflecting a strategic repurposing of land for sustainable energy production.
Rising Edge’s Scope of Work Rising Edge performed the full engineering, procurement, and construction for a greenfield 44/34.5kV substation which connected the solar farm to an existing interconnection switching station.
