| Rising Edge’s Scope of Work | Rising Edge is responsible for the installation of critical infrastructure for the Battery Energy Storage System (BESS). The scope included supplying and installing BESS yard surface rock, excavation, and subgrade preparation for precast concrete foundations for both BESS and transformers. Work also involved below-grade grounding, installation of conduit and cable raceways, and receiving and installing twenty-eight (28) MV GSU Padmount Transformers and one hundred twelve (112) Tesla MegaPacks. Additionally, Rising Edge installed all conduit, MV AC power cables, lighting power cables, and fiber cables while providing complete electrical testing and energization support for the new BESS system. |
